At Robert Morris School, we’re a small K–8 community in South Bound Brook, NJ. One building. One school. A tight team of people who care deeply about doing right by our students.
With a small staff, we have to be intentional about the tools we use. We don’t have time for things that don’t work or that add more to our plates. Senso has been one of those tools that just makes sense.
Supporting Students
We’ve been using it for almost two years now, and it’s become an important part of how we support our students. It lets us monitor Chromebooks, Windows devices, and Macs all in one place, which helps us stay consistent and efficient. The content filtering helps keep students on track and makes sure they’re accessing appropriate content, which matters a lot in today’s digital world.
But more than that, we use it to help students find balance. One thing we’ve really appreciated is the ability to let students disconnect their devices from the internet after school hours. It encourages them to step away from screens, manage their time better, and just be kids when they’re home.
Utilizing Assisted Monitoring
What has really stood out for us, though, is Senso’s Assisted Monitoring service. This isn’t just about software catching red flags. It’s about real people, trained in child safety, reviewing alerts and helping us know when a student might be in trouble. Whether it’s signs of stress, harmful searches, or something more serious, the system helps us catch it early. If something urgent comes up, we get notified right away. And every week, we get a report that helps us stay on top of the bigger picture around student well-being.
