Centralised policy, local exceptions
Set safeguarding keyphrase policy, filtering rules and classroom permissions at trust level. Schools can apply permitted exceptions without overriding central policy.
School-boundary access control
A school-level DSL sees only events from their school. A trust safeguarding lead can see across all schools. Access boundaries are enforced at the data level, not just the UI.
Consolidated reporting
Trust and district leadership can view aggregated safeguarding, filtering and IT activity across all schools, or drill into individual school data.
Per-school deployment flexibility
Schools can have different device mixes (Windows, Chromebook, macOS, iOS) within the same trust deployment. Platform coverage is per-school, not per-tenant.
Role delegation across schools
Trust-level IT administrators can delegate school-level IT management roles, classroom permissions and safeguarding access without sharing trust-wide credentials.
Microsoft Entra ID across the trust
Trust-wide Microsoft Entra ID integration means student and staff identity is consistent across all schools in the deployment; no per-school credential management.
Assisted Monitoring Services at trust scale
Assisted Monitoring Services operates across all schools in a trust deployment, with escalation routed to the appropriate school DSL based on device and event origin.
