Officially Approved by UK Safer Internet Centre (UKSIC)

This recognition by UKSIC, the UK’s leading authority on internet safety is a significant milestone in our mission to support schools in protecting children online. It confirms that Senso.cloud’s content filtering solution meets the nationally defined benchmark for “appropriate filtering”, the very standards referenced by government guidance and UKSIC.

Benefits of Content Filtering

BLOCK INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT

Senso's cloud-based, category web content filter provides you with peace of mind that when K-12 students are using school-owned devices to learn and work away from school, they are appropriately filtered and blocked from harmful or inappropriate content.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Senso's cloud filter not only benefits from extensive category-based libraries to block inappropriate websites, but also uses Artificial Intelligence to check the content of every website a student attempts to visit and will proactively include any inappropriate websites within the filtering libraries.

eSafety Tool

“Instant help with live chat.

We have been using Senso now for the past 2 years and it's truly a great product. The web filter is an invaluable eSafety tool capturing violations triggered by URLs or Keywords, which are then easily managed in the Admin Console.

We also use to good effect the Detections libraries where we can block specific keywords/URL's and whitelist them. The overview you get in the console is very informative and at your fingertips are reports of Violations logs, Application logs, Website logs and Archived logs.

The main benefit of Senso above others in this field is their support, you receive almost instant help with their live chat feature, which is so refreshing in a fast-paced environment where you need to resolve issues quickly.”

Supporting CIPA Compliance

Senso.Cloud is proud to support CIPA compliance to protect minors online.

The Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) was enacted by Congress in 2000 to address concerns about children's access to obscene or harmful content over the internet.

The protection measures must block or filter Internet access to pictures that are: (a) obscene; (b) child pornography; or (c) harmful to minors (for computers that are accessed by minors).

K-12 SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES SUBJECT TO CIPA ARE REQUIRED TO ADOPT AND IMPLEMENT AN INTERNET SAFETY POLICY.

They must address access by minors to inappropriate matter on the Internet as well as the safety and security of minors when using electronic mail, chat rooms and other forms of direct electronic communications.

Unauthorized access, including so-called “hacking,” and other unlawful activities by minors online and the unauthorized disclosure, use and dissemination of personal information regarding minors must also be addressed alongside measures restricting minors' access to materials harmful to them.
